Fripp Trip Rental Policies and Information
RESERVATIONS: 50% (of rent and applicable sales tax) is due at the time of the booking to hold the reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to date of check in for most reservations. If the reservation is 8 days or longer the balance is due 90 days prior to check in. Reservations are not deemed confirmed until 50% down payment is received.
CANCELLATIONS: Up to 90 days prior to check-in reservations maybe canceled (with written notice) and down payment refunded--minus a 10% processing fee. After 90 days prior to check-in the down payment is non-refundable.
WEATHER: In the event of a mandatory evacuation due to a hurricane a prorated refund or prorated rescheduling of the vacation will be given. Renter to choose. ABSOLUTELY NO other accommodations, refunds or consideration will be made due to inclement weather.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO RENT TO ANY POTENTIAL RENTER.
Minimum age of 25 for ALL OCCUPANTS unless parents are present for rental. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate removal from property as well as loss of security deposit.
ABSOLUTELY NO PETS OR ANIMALS OF ANY TYPE PERMITTED. Violation of this rule will result in forfeit of entire security deposit.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING PERMITTED in any of our properties. If you smoke outside of the house please pick up and dispose of cigarette butts. Violation of this rule will result in forfeit of entire security deposit.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: In order for deposit to be released there must be no damage to property, house or household items. All household goods are inventoried by weekly housekeeping. Damaged or missing items will be deducted from deposit.
CHECK IN time for all properties is 4:00 P.M. on the scheduled day of your arrival. You are welcome to arrive on the island at any time during that day, however, your Door Access Code will not be valid until 4:00 on the day of check in.
CHECK OUT time for all houses is 10:00 A.M. on the scheduled day of your departure. Please be respectful of these times as the cleaning staff has a very busy day and is unable to work around you and/or your belongings. The house must be empty in order for them to clean it properly. A late check out that delays their ability to clean the home WILL result in a deduction from your security deposit.
Various items are provided for your convenience. These items vary from home to home, please check your particular rental for what items you may expect. If you do not see it listed please ask, we may have it without listing it.
We do NOT provide items that are removable from the home. This includes but is not limited to beach chairs or beach towels.
All items furnished are provided for your convenience. If an item is not functioning properly please notify us immediately. We will make every effort to repair it in a timely manner. However, no refunds will be given for malfunctioning items/systems.
The Fripp Island homes are located within the Fripp Island Resort. There is an additional fee to access the resort facilities and amenities.
